Print Design
It all started when I turned sixteen. I began working for Clarke American, a check-printing plant in Ventura, California. It was there that I first learned of offset printing, spot colors and the wonderful smell of fresh ink on paper. It was a summer job, but it created a spark in me that later grew into a wildfire.
Fourteen years later, people often ask me what I like most about doing print work. There's something special about physically holding what I've designed, letting the light catch the varnish and flipping through the pages. It always brings a smile to my face.
