Print Design
When I first began my career as a graphic designer, I was mostly focused on print design. Print design was unrestricted at the time (1997), while web design was restricted to tables, early HTML and browser limitations.
I was fortunate to land my first design job at a small ad agency when I was 18, and learned as much as I could about printing techniques, layout and typography.
Over the years I've created a wide range of print work and have been published in a few design books.
What do I like most about designing for print? I like physically holding something that I've created. I'll never forget when I received a brochure in the mail when I first began my career, only to realize that I had designed it. It was a really neat feeling.
